Anthropos India Foundation, in collaboration with Global South Coalition for Dignified Menstruation, invites scholars, researchers, practitioners, and students to contribute to an interdisciplinary dialogue:

"Menstrual Practices, Beliefs, Taboos, Health and Management: An Interdisciplinary Dialogue on Menstrual Dignity"

Key Objectives

  • Examine cultural meanings and ritual practices around menstruation.
  • Discuss menstrual interventions and policy frameworks.
  • Explore stigma, taboos, and exclusion in diverse contexts.
  • Promote menstrual dignity as a human rights and gender justice framework.
  • Encourage dialogue between research, policy, and community practice.

Important Dates

  • Abstract submission deadline: 25 March 2026.
  • Notification of acceptance: 5 April 2026.
  • Full paper submission: 15 April 2026.

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstract length: 200–300 words.
  • Include research objectives, methodology, and relevance to the theme.
  • Formatting: Times New Roman, 12 pt, single spacing.
  • Include author name, designation, affiliation, and contact email.
